Description: Here Jim asked Tom to take a break to catch a shot of him lead climbing the route.  Notice the two ropes hanging off Tom.  Both were needed to rappel down.  The lines were 150' each and were tied together and then doubled back though a permanently fixed eye in the rock.  This would provide the means to rappel down the Monument after a climb.
